Do you think the govt handled the oil crisis well?

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday ordered an FIR against Samajwadi MP Jaya Bachchan but backtracked less than an hour later.

The government first said an FIR would be filed against Samajwadi MP Jaya Bachchan for giving wrong information in her Rajya Sabha nomination papers.

The charge against Jaya is that she had not mentioned her two properties in Barabanki.

But barely an hour after the order, the UP government backtracked. Lucknow officials said they would first investigate the matter and then decide on filing the FIR.

The Election Commission had earlier said there was enough evidence to show Jaya Bachchan indeed guilty of the charge.
